I just love this time of year. I can see these flowers right out my front window -

Dragon Fly Wings - 22x30 Watercolor

I just love it when the dragonflied just hatch - they zoom around the back yard catching bugs and are such a delight to watch. I rmember the year (before we remodeled) that my daughter and I sat down on the beach all day watching them climb up the boathouse wall and hatch and dry their wings and them fly away. It was magical. They don't do that any more - not since we cover the boathouse wall with wood. Don't know why - but they just don't and I miss that but love the memory.

Springtime in Northern Wisconsin. The ice pulled away from the shore of the lake this week. I love the crystal clear water in Flambeau Lake.
